Grab your border crossing docs, bring your favorite French-English dictionary, prepare yourself for Quebecois traffic lights and run through the fall foliage of the Eastern Townships! You can run your choice of 5, 10, 21 or 42km for the Marathon de Magog on Sunday 13th October, Scroll down for English. As per last year's results it’s not a very competitive race, so here’s your chance to win in an international competition and show those faux-frogs who's boss while you are at it! Carpooling will be available for the five-hour drive from New Haven to Magog (pray the CBC has some good tunes playing). The city is small one, so if you have any interest in joining you should book accommodation ASAP. Other activities in the area include hiking Mont Orford, riding the Gondola up Mont Orford, starting a new life in a friterie making poutine, or the renting of kayaks, jet skis, and sailboats to hunt the monster in Lac Memphremagog. There is also the possibility race karts, indoor mini-golf, “Canopy Bikes” through the trees or a zip line within a 60’ radius of Magog. Montreal is 90’ away by car.
